In 1918 The Todd House began as a 14-room boardinghouse in the heart of downtown Tabor City, North Carolina. It served breakfast and lunch to the guests and provided a room for those stopping in from the train.Over one hundred years later the 10,000 sq. ft. boarding house/restaurant has been modernized to create the perfect venue for weddings, rehearsals, receptions, and reunions. The Todd House offers a beautiful ball room, bridal suite, gentlemen's quarters, bar area, parlor room, a courtyard with fountain, a back veranda for rehearsal parties and barbecues, and a caterer's kitchen. There are 4 beautiful rooms available for overnight guests. A Low Country Garden courtyard and an outdoor patio will be available in the fall of 2022 that will include a water fountain and arbor adorned with many brick patios and walkways. An outdoor partial covered veranda will be available in 2023.
