In 1918 The Todd House began as a 14-room boardinghouse in the heart of downtown Tabor City, North Carolina. It served breakfast and lunch to the guests and provided a room for those stopping in from the train.Over one hundred years later the 10,000 sq. ft. boarding house/restaurant has been modernized to create the perfect venue for weddings, rehearsals, receptions, and reunions. The Todd House offers a beautiful ball room, bridal suite, gentlemen's quarters, bar area, parlor room, a courtyard with fountain, a back veranda for rehearsal parties and barbecues, and a caterer's kitchen. There are 4 beautiful rooms available for overnight guests. A Low Country Garden courtyard with a large fountain and manicured with an arbor is where our outdoor weddings are held. An outdoor partial covered veranda opens up to the Carriage House.
Located only 30 miles from Coastal North and South Carolina beaches this is the perfect venue for a private event with a short driving distance to Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Sunset Beach, Calabash, Ocean Isle, or Holdem Brach.
